Care Aspirations values the contribution of staff in creating a supportive and stimulating
environment for Service Users. In return, we invest in the training and development of our staff.

Our Human Resources and training departments work alongside all tiers of management
to ensure the quality of recruitment and staff development are of the optimum standard.

On the very first day of employment staff attend an induction process designed to
equip them with knowledge of key company practices, policies and procedures.
The initial training is followed by an eight week induction programme, implemented
within each unit, giving staff valuable information and instruction
on the specific needs of the service and its users and its culture.

Regular appraisals are not only to review staff performance. They also assist
Care Aspirations to identify individual training needs, which are then planned and implemented
through individual, team & corporate training programmes.

Training courses are held monthly to help ensure each staff member delivers the very best care.
These courses include in-service training, EENB and CIEH approved courses, NVQ’s,
college courses and other externally held courses.
